French at Rosendale

Monthly Archives: April 2018

Year 4 have been lucky enough to test out a brand new languages game developed internationally and newly available in the UK. Here are a few of them talking about it….

This week we learnt that France has the highest mountain in Europe, more than 4000m high, called the White Mountain, Mont Blanc.

Also, the toys went swimming, dancing, to the park and met lots of other toys including a Giant Monkey, un Singe Géant!

Excellent travail!

Over the Easter holidays the toys went to Dorset, went skate-boarding and ate croissants. Génial!

Super travail, les enfants.

We learnt that France was the first country in the world to introduce a Public Transport System, William Duke of Normandy invaded England in 1066 and France could fit thirteen times into Canada!

Today we made mud pies (gateaux de boue) and we spotted lots of newts (tritons) in the pond. Merci Miss Roselli!
